Join Me on Fidelity’s 52-Week Money Challenge

I recently joined Fidelity’s 52-Week Money Challenge, and I’m excited to share it with you! This challenge is as straightforward as it sounds: each week, a small, steadily increasing amount is transferred, starting with $1 in week 1, $2 in week 2, and so on, until you’re putting aside $52 by week 52.

By the end, you’ll have saved a solid $1,378! That’s enough to cover a weekend getaway, stash some cash for holiday expenses, or even kick off an emergency fund.

The best part? You start with tiny amounts and work your way up gradually. There’s no need to wait for January, either—you can jump in anytime! Whether it’s the start of a new month, mid-year, or even a random Tuesday in August, you’re always right on time. Plus, if you need a “reset” at any point, that’s okay too! This flexibility is perfect for those who want to build up their savings without stress or pressure.

Why Fidelity’s 52-Week Money Challenge is So Effective

The beauty of the 52-Week Money Challenge lies in its gradual approach. You’re not diving in with big amounts right off the bat, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. This makes it ideal for people who are new to saving or just want to ease into a consistent habit without drastically changing their budget. By the end, you’ll have built a great savings cushion—one that’s grown bit by bit, making it much more manageable.

How to Start Fidelity’s 52-Week Money Challenge

Getting started is simple! Log into your Fidelity account or open one if you don’t already have it. Navigate to the 52-Week Money Challenge page and join. Fidelity also offers handy reminders to help you stay on track week by week.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get that savings blooming, starting…now!
